The terms for using RightTick.

RightTick is run by Pravakar Dutta, sole proprietor, Adabari, Guwahati, Assam 781012, India (“we”, “us”). These terms are an agreement between you and us. By using the site or the service, you accept them. If you use RightTick for a business or for your clients, you confirm that you may accept these terms on their behalf.

RightTick makes cash flow forecasts from accounting data, in two ways. The free tool: you export your General Ledger from QuickBooks Online, and it forecasts your next 13 weeks. The connected tool, for accountants and fractional CFOs: you connect your clients' QuickBooks Online companies, and it makes and updates each one's 13-week forecast, which you can adjust, download, share, and open to your team and your clients. The connected tool is in early access: free for now, and still improving.

We improve the service over time, so features may change. If we remove something that a paid plan relies on, we'll tell you in advance.

RightTick is for businesses and the professionals who work for them. You must be at least 18. If you create an account, keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used them.

You keep all rights to the data you upload or connect, and to the forecasts and workbooks made from it. You may use and share them however you like, including with your clients.

You confirm that you have the right to give us that data. If you're an adviser, such as a fractional CFO or bookkeeper, that means your client has agreed to you using RightTick with their books.

You allow us to process your data only to provide and improve the service, as our privacy policy describes. We don't sell it.

You can connect a QuickBooks Online company through Intuit's secure sign-in. By connecting, you allow RightTick to read that company's accounting data to make your forecasts. We only read: we never create, change or delete anything in your QuickBooks.

If you connect a client's company, you confirm that your client has agreed, and you're responsible for who you invite to your workspace and for what you share. You can disconnect at any time, from RightTick or from QuickBooks. Your use of QuickBooks is governed by Intuit's own terms. Intuit and QuickBooks are registered trademarks of Intuit Inc. A forecast is an estimate. It's calculated by fixed rules from your past records and the choices you make, and the future can differ. It is only as good as the data behind it.

RightTick shows what your books suggest; it doesn't give financial, investment, tax, legal or accounting advice. Decisions you make, or advice you give your clients, remain your responsibility. Check what matters before you rely on it. The AI-written summary is checked against your forecast's numbers, but its wording can still be imperfect.

Please don't:

• upload or connect data you don't have the right to use;
• try to get around usage limits, bot checks or security, or use automated tools to run the service in bulk;
• try to copy, decompile or reverse-engineer the service, or resell it without our agreement;
• upload anything harmful, such as malware, or use the service for anything unlawful.

We may suspend access that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk.

RightTick is free to use today, including the connected tool during early access. If we introduce paid plans, we'll tell you in advance and show the price, billing period and cancellation terms before you subscribe, and we won't charge you for anything you haven't agreed to.

The site, the software, the forecasting engine and the RightTick name and design belong to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the service under these terms. Your data and the forecasts made from it stay yours (section 4).

We run RightTick with trusted providers for hosting, databases and sign-in, storage, email, bot checks and AI; the privacy policy lists them. We choose them carefully but can't control them, and an outage on their side may affect the service.

We work hard to keep RightTick accurate and available, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we don't promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any forecast will be accurate.

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, business or data, arising from your use of RightTick. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$100.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.

If someone makes a claim against us because you used data you had no right to use, or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs that result.

You can stop using RightTick at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. Sections 4, 6 and 9 to 15 continue to apply after you stop.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute arises, write to us first at contact@righttick.app, and we'll try to resolve it together. If we can't, the courts of Guwahati, Assam, India have exclusive jurisdiction.

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and its date. If a change materially affects a paid plan, we'll email you before it takes effect. Using RightTick after a change means you accept it.
